i was just at a local home goods store w/ my cousin getting furniture for my place when an elderly white woman approached me at the check out counter. she looked at me w/ tears in her eyes... & then said “i’m from Minneapolis & I just want you to know “you matter to me.”
“Not all cops are bad’” .. Not all black people are bad either, but they stay after us. 🤷🏾♀️

I’m also realizing that people want so much say in how you should parent that baby. That shit is so frustrating to me because if we want it a certain way then let us do it that way. Being a parent feels so draining and powerless at times.
All my life I was always the anxious type. It was always manageable. But holy cow...trying to keep our head above water while trying to navigate a pandemic with an infant has sent it through the roof 😪
I have never had this much anxiety in my life. And it’s not getting better.
Having a baby has made me so hyper aware of how scary this world really is
@slzar_angelic Leaving them outside makes me anxious but that blanket that’s covering the baby seems like it’s almost over it’s face...it’s making me nervous that it’s going to suffocate 😰
I just really want to hold my daughter again.
It sucks having to say goodnight to her like this 😭 I want this all to be over so I can hold her.
How long before there is less bad news about the Corona Virus and more good? I just want to turn on the news and hear them say things are starting to turn around and less people are getting sick and dying. This is so heart wrenching.
