That’s my emotional support stack of unread books on my nightstand.
@svershbow That may be 9 books there. In varying states of unread, half-read, & read. There may be one gem there I started before my son was born, who is now 14 & starting HS on Monday. #NoShame
@svershbow You just have a stack? Can I claim a bookshelf as a support animal?
@svershbow @anxietyaloner #word Isn’t buying a book almost the same as reading and absorbing its entire contents? Or better yet, lightly skimming it and cherry-picking and then never opening it again. But I’ve still got, right there waiting for me whenever I feel like it . . .
@svershbow My Support Stack is primarily unread D&D modules because I feel I need to read the novels that lead up to the events in the modules and I want context for people/places/events for when I end up never DMing said modules.
@svershbow Bedroom stack is by the door, living room stack on the couch.
@svershbow I love this tweet so much (and the people who *instantly* replied with pics of their stacks of books) 😁
@svershbow I love this post. I’m happy to see I’m not alone.
