It’s disappointing that @nsgov isn’t taking the opportunity to close a known pathway to loss of housing by tying the rent cap to units and not tenants. Those lucky enough to find housing are shuffled from one fixed term lease to the next, if they’re lucky enough to find one.

Rent in #Novascotia is so high people are using sites such as #Happipad to rent out bedrooms. While at its core websites like this are innocent, there is zero structure in place to prevent people being taken advantage of. @nsgov needs to do better to lower rent costs.
