Islamophobia in the UK is scary. These kids wanted five minutes to pray (during their lunch break, mind) and the school refused to allow it.

@BallaTheSenior Right they’re not asking to pray during lesson time, are they? They’re legally forced to be at school, why can’t they pray whilst they’re there on their lunch
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior Their not legally forced to be at school, home schooling is legal in the UK. No one should be praying in school, that goes for all religion, school is about education.
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior They knew the rules. There are plenty of other schools.
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior Why don’t they just prey in their heads? Why does preying have to be such an attention seeking song and dance?
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior They're not "legally forced" to be at school. They can be home schooled, untainted by the filthy non believers. Why can't they pray in the numerous mosques or at home? The need for pious showboating is seemingly far greater than the need to pray.
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior Because this country shouldn't be forced by law, to put up with Islamic religious dogma, at anytime or anywhere.
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior Why do schools and hospitals have to remove religious symbols to suit Muslims being offended.. let them pray in the mosque after school.. it is just another example of appeasing the unoffendable
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior It's against school policy. If parents/ children don't like it, find another school
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior They're not legally forced to be at this particular school, they chose to go there because it's a good school, and now they're trying to change it.
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior They’re not legally forced to attend a muscularly secular Free School. They have specifically applied to get in and have signed up to its ethos. Let’s not let facts get in the way of a bit of goadery, eh?
@tallymedic @BallaTheSenior So kid could claim paganism and demand ability to sacrifice animals during lunch break ?
