The second largest economic development project in Mississippi history is halfway done! This $2.5 billion private sector investment by Aluminum Dynamics is creating over 2,000 construction jobs, and 1,000 jobs with an average annual salary of $93,000.
@tatereeves So why can’t you/don’t you fix the water in Jackson, MS?
I left the socialist state of NY where I lived for about 55 years of my life (off and on) and the state government continually ballyhoo'd their development projects which "provided jobs" as property taxes increased to the point that on retirement everybody has to leave the state. Is we creating a socialist state here in MS? Just askin'. Be careful what you ask for, you might get it.
@tatereeves Hey can you work on this nest....Legislation to Eliminate Retail Theft and Porch Piracy? I live to close to Memphis.
@tatereeves Average salary is a meaningless statistic.
@tatereeves 2000 temporary jobs. And what's the breakdown between the average of the floor workers pay vs. management pay? Number of blue collar vs white collar positions? How much did you give away in tax deferments?
@tatereeves We are starving down here south of I-20 as Hwy 45 bypassed all our towns. Commerce rolls right through without stopping all the way to the coast. We at least need a better railway along this corridor. That would give businesses a hope to flourish
@tatereeves “Average” tell us the median, not averaged with the wealthy upper management positions. Your base doesn’t know the difference
