Android has this too. It's called Motion Assist, and it needs Android 17+ with Google Play services up to date.
Settings > search "Motion assist" > turn on "Start in a moving vehicle". You can also add the Quick Settings tile.
How old were you when you found out that iPhone has a built-in feature that can reduce motion sickness while you’re a passenger in a car?
How it works:
Thinking more about this today... The direction is teams of bots that work on repos. Then we must shift thinking more in terms of being on-call for a team of bots.
So you and colleagues steer a team of bots, either directly through chat or through grooming of a backlog.

@poteto@thsottiaux Any good guidelines for working with a team of people on bot automated repos? I see lots of success stories for individuals. However if multiple people point their bots at the same repo, I see a lot of friction and clashes. Would love to hear your thoughts.

@thsottiaux@thsottiaux Could one of the 28 improvements focus on Windows + WSL2 reliability? I counted 248 open app-labelled issues with WSL/WSL2 in the title. Reports include failed startup, project creation and even pwd. Please prioritize the blockers and add end-to-end release tests.
@thsottiaux Sandbox commands fail despite working direct WSL tests: github.com/openai/codex/i…
Project creation blocked: github.com/openai/codex/i…
These are issue reports, not 248 distinct bugs. Please give Windows/WSL2 a public tracker and release tests.
@uday_devops Now add an image for agentic engineering... This comparison is too binary. Agentic coding with well thought through verification harness, designs is the awesome middle ground.
@poteto@bot Great gardening analogy. Like bugs, code can have weeds which are harmless if handled in time. Weeds are adressed by changing the harness so that type of weed won't come back. The term 'AI slop' is too negative and derails from the useful action a dev can take in the harness.
The challenge is that this type of vibe coding side steps all the usual steps of vetting an idea, etc.. just because it *appears* so easy.
You need to decouple openai the tool provider from openai - the player in the space you're operating in.
Pre-vibe coding, building tools and apps was expensive so time was spent figuring out whether an idea is viable, where does potential competition comes from, etc...
Now you think of an idea, and implement it with a single prompt. If there's unexpected competition the disappointment comes very quickly.
You got unlucky that openai built a feature on your space. But it's now easier for *anyone* to built features that might compete with each other.
So don't forget to do due diligence once your product ideas, because there's no so much competition.
And that's a good thing in the long run imo, since it'll drive productivity up.
@thsottiaux would it be an option to get goal state for a thread be controlled using the CLI? Would add a bit extra external control on top of `queue` (love that addition!)
