7 days in jail for cutting hair?? This is NUTS. And government officials don’t get to order citizens to apologize to them for daring to earn a living.

@tedcruz #LockHerUp Texas Penal Code § 22.05. (a) A person commits an offense if he recklessly engages in conduct that places another in imminent danger of serious bodily injury.
@tedcruz @ScottAdamsSays So you’re ok with her violating Abbott’s order?
@tedcruz Senator, it's like this all over the country. Cops arresting citizens while the governors are letting violent offenders out of prison to offend again. This overreach into violating our Constitutional Rights is enough. The DOJ needs to step in and right now.
@tedcruz Can you and @GovAbbott step in , before this goes any further
@tedcruz Phony Ted - simple questions... 1. Did she violate the law? 2. Was she offered an opportunity to "back up?" She is getting what she deserves. Ted, what other laws are you okay with breaking?
@tedcruz Government officials have lost their minds. Now they need to lose their jobs!!!
@tedcruz She got 7 days in jail for being an idiot, not for cutting hair. Judges can pretty much do whatever they want within the law to prevent recidivism. There are social services available to this woman, and her children must now become wards of these services or relatives.
