1/ Risk assets ripping higher on the FOMC meeting minute release, why? Minutes mention: - ‘uncertain lag between monetary policy action and economic effects’ (scared of doing too much) - ‘slowing the pace of rate increases would soon be appropriate’ (expecting a pause/pivot)

Brilliant R/R long here on the dollar index, you could also express this idea via EUR/USD short. If the dollar is going to bounce, it'll be in the coming hours imo... with November's FOMC meeting minutes due at 19:00 UTC today.

7/ It’s worth noting that although the market seemingly has placed more weight into how CPI has tracked, it is actually PCE that the Fed observe with a more keen eye. And core PCE is yet to show signs of slowing at all. More fuel for the fed to hold firm.

2/ The market got well out in front on a lower than expected October CPI print. Equities + Crypto both sharply higher Expectations of slowed rate hikes and a lower terminal rate grew. After quarters of hot inflation, the market got over-zealous on a long awaited lower CPI print
