@boyter Yes (now home) office, laptops and infrastructure are indeed expensive… yet a variance of x16-17 for time makes me wonder. I am either extremely fast or the time was a bit overestimated.
Using SCC, the cool tool by @boyter, the first time. Got the results attached with defaults. Lines of code, blanks, etc. quite clear. But how should I interpret the complexity and time/effort results? Results are for a module developed last week.
@boyter Inaccurate wording on my part! Complexity measurement would not have needed to change since the 1970’s, as it measures something inherent in the code.
@boyter Thanks! I would think that measuring complexity that way would not change over time as it is based on code structure. But I am guessing that COCOMO estimates may not be extremely accurate.
