🇨🇦 IRCC rolled out changes to #ExpressEntry on Feb 27, introducing a new category alongside additions and removals of occupations from existing categories 🇨🇦 Check out full list of occupations with NOC codes eligible for Express Entry draws in 2025👇 immigrationnewscanada.ca/occupations-fo…

Microsoft Teams is down 😅😅😅😅

@rssjysgv @CanadaImmigra20 I don't think so. Because you'll be applying for PGWP, not student visa

@AskKubeir @SashimiMonster I'm confused. What about this line on IRCC website: If you submitted your study permit application before November 1, 2024 and are applying for a PGWP on or after November 1, 2024, you must also meet the new requirement that applies to your situation.

@RISHIBEHL6 @iStudentCanada @CitImmCanada @JustinTrudeau @MarcMillerVM vt.tiktok.com/ZS2ncTac5/

@RISHIBEHL6 @iStudentCanada @CitImmCanada @JustinTrudeau @MarcMillerVM Degree, Master and PhD still eligible. Diploma & certificate not eligible.

@RISHIBEHL6 @iStudentCanada @CitImmCanada @JustinTrudeau @MarcMillerVM This applies to all students, whether they submitted their study permit before or after Nov 1st 2024. So not only new students

@RISHIBEHL6 @iStudentCanada @CitImmCanada @JustinTrudeau @MarcMillerVM If you are pursuing a Bachelor, Master or PhD, then you don't need to see job eligibility. If you are not doing the above, then job eligibility applies. So for those in colleges doing diploma, need CLB 5 and job eligibility

🇨🇦New #PGWP Changes🧑‍🎓My big takeaways. ➡️ Language - If you are already studying in Canada, don’t be lazy with your English or French, take advantage of your opportunity in school to maximize your fluency. If you do this your pathways to a PGWP will be fully available. University education requires CLB/NCLC 7 and college requires CLB/NCLC 5 when applying for your PGWP on or after Nov 1st. ➡️ No Program Restrictions - University Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral programs - If you have not yet applied for your study permit and do not intend to do so before November 1st, put the breaks on everything until you have had a chance to carefully ensure the school + program you intend to pursue will result in the issuance of a PGWP. If you are attending University and obtaining a bachelors, masters, or doctoral program there are no program restrictions. Choose the program that best fits your interests, future goals, and if you intend to shoot for PR in Canada, pay attention to the labour shortage projections for the year you intend to graduate and see if your interests align with projected skill shortages in Canada. And don’t just rush off to Toronto to study, carefully consider all the provinces as Ontario can be the most difficult to obtain PR (I guess I would also add BC as a close second in difficulty). ➡️ Program Restrictions - Other University programs - If you choose to take a program that is not a bachelors, masters, or doctoral program at. University, then you must study in a program that would prepare you for employment in an eligible field of study. Here is what is currently on the list (spoiler alert..it mirrors the #ExpressEntry categories): •agriculture and agri-food •healthcare •STEM •trade •transport ➡️ Program Restrictions - College - if you choose to study at a Canadian college after Nov 1st and apply for a PGWP, your field of study must also be linked to occupations in long term shortage. The list is obviously the same as above: •agriculture and agri-food •healthcare •STEM •trade •transport I just left Lethbridge today headed to Utah with my family for the week. We are attending general conference for our church and then doing a temple tour (something we have been looking forward to for years). This announcement rolled out at a pretty crappy time for me. I would have loved to have done a Live Stream on the #CanadianImmigrationInstitute YouTube channel, but it wasn’t in the cards. But stay tuned, @IgorKyryliuk and Alicia will be hosting the Canada Immigration 🇨🇦 Live Q&A on Wednesday at 10:00 am MT. This will obviously be a subject of discussion…the show must go on!!!!

@MarcMillerVM Is this your real Twitter account? Anyways, on the IRCC website, it still says 20 hours work per week for int'l students. When are you changing it to 24 hours per week?
