Our first public pitch, at Build Station Warsaw Demo Day. An event contract pays only once someone decides what happened. That decision can be disputed, reversed or paid late. 10bips measures that risk, proposal by proposal.

Three numbers 10bips publishes. P(dispute): the chance a proposal is disputed before its window closes. Resolution risk: the expected loss to a holder of the proposed outcome, in bps. Haircut: what a lender should discount a position by before it settles.
Near its end, a winning position is the safest asset in a prediction market: the outcome is public and the price sits close to $1. What is left is settlement. That price mixes settlement risk with time value, fees and spread, and cannot separate them.
How a Polymarket market resolves. A whitelisted proposer reports the outcome and posts a bond. Anyone can dispute within the window: 10 min on fast sports and crypto markets, 2 h on the rest. A first dispute resets it. A second goes to a UMA vote, 3 to 4 days later.
