There’s this woman who never stopped disturbing me to follow her to church before I left for NYSC. She’d come around, press me to come and pray so that “everything would go well” in my life and I could “move closer to God.” Those words always baffled me. Move closer to God? I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t do things that called for that statement “move closer to God”, I just go around with my normal lifestyle. Still, I’d use scope tell her I’d find time, mention that I have my own church. But she wasn’t having it; she wanted me in hers. I made sure I never stepped foot inside. Yesterday she spotted me and asked if I was done with NYSC. I said, “yes, just last week” “So what’s your plan?” she asked. “Everything is in God’s hands,” I replied. Then she dropped the line that hit me hard: “You see why I’ve always begged you to come to my church? If you had come, you might have found a job by now. You better come so you can find mercy and get that job.” Those words broke me, not because of what she said, but because she’s a “Christian” Now I have one question for Christians: Are we really practicing the same Christianity, because why I should I go to your church before I can find mercy or have a good life?”

I thought by now, in my 8 months of being a Corper I would have saved up enough out of my Alawee Bro kobo I couldn’t save, I even had to borrow to it and I’m not even spending lavishly it got to a point I had to call them at home to start praying for me seems evil spirit (Agbana) has entered my life and I’m spending money anyhow, but then I sit down and look at myself, I’m not eating outside, I’m eating home made food which I cook by myself, I didn’t buy one single cloth so how come? I just concluded that it’s not my fault it’s the economy, thank goodness for my boss who just gave me an opportunity last month to earn more to the 77k Who else is facing this situation as a Corper or I’m the one spending lavishly?

Those accounts that support you on here are not doing that because of your fancy profile, or because you have a fine PFP, they are doing it for reciprocation. Support them and stop being a 🤡

@TheFigen_ @X Just forget about them, why not keep blocking them? With this? You are giving them more reasons to think their words are getting to you. So just let them be, if they keep coming, block them simple.
