Thunder jackets for dogs. Worth the money? Total waste? She’s on trazadone but we have had a thunderstorm every. Single. Day. And I just don’t think the meds are helping. Once life slows down a bit I will be calling my vet to see what else I can do.

And I personally just don’t like him staying the night at places. Family or not. I don’t like the idea of something happening and me not being there. Is my postpartum anxiety taking over? Probably but also he comes back worked tf up

I’m a terrible parent if I don’t have a routine for my child. But if I do I and I insist you follow it I’m “overbearing” and my child’s missing out on socialization. Damn if you damn if you don’t.

See the pay reflect said trainings. But that’s not the point. The point is I’ve talked to moms that paid $2100 a month for childcare and I cannot believe it. That’d be both my old paychecks with MAYBE $200 left MAYBE.

And I use to work in child care and we did trainings every single month. We were required by the state (in NC I’m assuming it’s national but I’m also not gonna say and have someone pitch a fit) to have x amount of hours every so often. But in some cases I did not

I want to first say, I’m very blessed I’m able to stay home with my son. This is a ‘luxury’ in a sense that not many people have. However it’s absolutely insane that the reason I stay home is child care prices are absolutely outrageous

@king__kylah I was so iffy about one when I was younger but a male one was the one to rush me into my C-section and save my sons life. I was so sad when I got the letter he was leaving 😭

@kerriganpotter As a mother who was diagnosed with severe PPD and was a low supply this gets me. Like let’s shame a mom even more so she feels like an even bigger failure as if PPD isn’t hell enough

You know what “good” mothers don’t have to do? Brag on facebook about “I’m ALWAYS there for my kids !1!1!”Like one or post, cool, but when you post every day for a week that you’re a great mom, you trying to compensate for the fact someone has your kids every weekend.

It’s 7:12 and we’ve only had a 45 minute nap at best. He’s absolutely exhausted at 7:12 but I know any bed time before 9 he’s up at 4 am but I cannot handle another minute today 🙃

I just miss my dog. I was outside and all I could think about was her barking, chasing a rabbit or something while we played outside. I just keep expecting her to come inside any minute now 😭

My son, whose never slept through the night since the day he was born, slept through the night last night, woke up at 6 (normal time) fell asleep at 8 and we slept until 1030. So I guess I got 1 thing in life that’s good
