@thdxr I still feel like the only good reason we want SSR is SEO for 95% of the case, and it causes lots of overhead to the frontend development. If the general SEO algo works differently without the need of SSR, I felt like it could just die. Make Frontend like an OS client.

@thdxr I'm interested how their "Edge" was slower than single core server. Does it include DB latency? So comparison is Edge close to DB vs server in same cluster as DB?
@thdxr It was a pretty poor play for market share over delivering a user need. Now they’ve just moved to something named different but still using the edge branding, even though, by that, they mean it uses a CDN.
