I wrote a thing! retrorgb.com/koalas-korner-… You can also check out a extra long boring stream vod on youtube running the tests. 😴 p.s thanks for posting my nonsense @RetroRGB #retrogb #retrotink #morph4k #ossc #retogaming
@theKoalaKoa @RetroRGB The lag was apparently addressed in the latest morph firmware update, so another test may be warranted. I could never get the Tink5x pass through to work. It doesn’t pass 240p direct to the morph. It was always still outputting my set resolution.
@theKoalaKoa @RetroRGB So awesome to see your work on RetroRGB! Congrats man!
@theKoalaKoa @RetroRGB I enjoyed the article. I am in the same category, owning all scalers and just experimenting with them all the time. It's also nice to remind ourselves about the grandfather framemeister (I wvwn have older upscalers in my collection)...
@theKoalaKoa @RetroRGB I have completely different experience from last scalers. e.g. i like masks usage from ossc pro more... with rt4k it got a bit complexer. some enjoy it, but some simplicity from previous tink products in rt4k got lost.
@theKoalaKoa @RetroRGB Update that the latency tests were much improved in the latest firmware.
@theKoalaKoa @RetroRGB Thanks for testing the input lag and your impressions!
@theKoalaKoa @RetroRGB You can actually use any remote you like with the Morph, and also CEC and wifi remote too.
