To those asserting that targeting the hospital in Gaza is merely "collateral damage" resulting in the tragic loss of patients, doctors, and nurses: Do you truly grasp the meaning of "collateral damage"? By definition, it pertains to UNINTENDED civilian casualties or damage during military operations. Can you still call it "collateral damage" if the hospital was INTENTIONALLY and SPECIFICALLY targeted? International humanitarian law explicitly bans assaults on hospitals and medical facilities unless they serve a military function. Even in such cases, their protection isn't entirely forfeited. Labeling this attack as "collateral damage" seriously diminishes the value of innocent lives, be they Israelis or Palestinians. This act is nothing less than a war crime, in stark breach of international law.
@theadtan there is no perfect, precise war attack it will always have casualties
@theadtan I agree. So have those involved (Islamic Jihad) arrested and tried.
@theadtan War is always ugly. My heart breaks for the little children.
@theadtan Hamas was planning this all along. They are using the hospital as base, when Israeli air force bombs it, it’s the “fault” of IDF.
@theadtan Any information from Palestine- take it with a grain of salt.
@theadtan I guess they subscribe to the saying, "It's not a warcrime if you win the war."
@theadtan So who bombed the Hospital? Israel or Hamas?
