@arvidkahl One worktree per task, and name the folder after the task, not the branch. Each agent gets its own terminal tab pointed at its own folder. Never run two agents in the same worktree. Merge each one back as soon as it's green instead of letting them pile up.
@yongfook Developers are the hardest customers: they can build it themselves, they expect it free, and they churn the moment a GitHub repo appears. A dentist with a scheduling problem has none of those habits. Same build effort, far more willingness to pay.
@thejustinwelsh Same logic works for app ideas. If a company already pays for a clunky internal tool to solve a problem, someone will pay for a cleaner one. Look at what businesses spend money on badly, not at what's trending.
@levelsio @MaxRovensky @scottbrills Put Cloudflare in front and cache the landing page for anonymous visitors. Dynamic pages stay dynamic, but the one page everyone hits after a viral post becomes static. Fixes 90% of this and costs nothing.
@Shpigford @rachioco This is the most underrated use of AI tools right now: point them at data you already have (bills, logs, exports) and ask "what's wrong here?". Far more ROI than building yet another chatbot. Most businesses are sitting on a dozen of these $2,500 findings.
@levelsio Distribution first, product second. Most people build the booking flow for six months and then wonder where the users are. You had the audience, then added a product to it. That order is the whole trick.
A simple rule for choosing your tech stack: Pick what you can ship with THIS month. Not what's trending. Not what pays the most on job boards. Not what the smartest person you follow uses. The best stack is the one that gets your app into users' hands fastest.
Most people over-engineer their first app. You don't need microservices, Kubernetes, or a custom design system for version 1. You need: • one database • one server • one screen that solves one problem Add complexity when users force you to. Not before.
