@theshortcut I really wish they had left the SD card slot alone. It's hard to upgrade from a Fire Max 11 to one of these if I can't take my 1TB SD card with me.

@Jfcdoomblade That's because the first two movies form a cohesive whole. Everything thereafter have moments of brilliance, lost in cliche horror tropes.

Colorado mayor spotted sleeping at a homeless shelter. Aurora, Colorado, Mayor Mike Coffman gained widespread attention after revealing that he regularly spends Friday nights sleeping on a basic cot at a local homeless shelter. Since February 2024, the 71-year-old mayor has stayed overnight at the Aurora Regional Navigation Center, a city-funded 600-bed transitional housing campus that he helped create. During these visits, Coffman stays in the facility’s Tier One overnight shelter, sleeps in his regular clothes, and wakes up Saturday mornings to help serve breakfast to residents. Coffman began the weekly stays to gain a firsthand understanding of how the city’s millions in homelessness funding are being used and to see how the facility operates from the perspective of those relying on its services. He has said the experience changed the way he views people facing homelessness, leading him to focus more on individual circumstances and compassion. The initiative followed a controversial 2021 experiment in which Coffman spent a week undercover as a homeless veteran, a decision that drew criticism after he previously described homelessness as a “lifestyle choice.”

@btbsoco How many protestors showed up? Were there any arrests? Did anyone notice? Was this sound and fury signifying nothing, or did you make a difference?

To @SenTuberville's voter base, being a racist piece of shit is considered a feature, not a bug. Thank you for calling it as it is, @GavinNewsom.

Tommy Tuberville proves to the world that a football hitting your head can turn you into a racist piece of shit. Congrats, Tommy.

@metalfin @drewcollins No. ecclesiasticallaw.wordpress.com/2014/05/31/obj… If you're going to object, you need to do it the right way. Otherwise, you're basically the random drunk guy showing up at a wedding and insisting that they can't get married because YOU said so.

@calvinrobinson "Cities Church lists David Easterwood as a pastor. His personal information appears to match that of the David Easterwood identified in court filings as the acting director of the ICE St. Paul field office. He appeared alongside Kristi Noem at a press conference last October."
