That Sunak article in the Sun is pretty extraordinary. He cites a "colder than usual winter" meaning we've "used up more of our gas stores". But the Tories shut down three quarters of the UK's gas storage in 2017, and so far this winter has been one of the mildest on record.

It should now be clear to the DUP that supporting Brexit was a huge strategic error for them and unionism in NI. It's reduced support for the Union. It's led to a border in the Irish Sea (because the ERG prefer that to the alternative - customs union + regulatory alignment)

This £200 energy rebate is actually a loan which will put bills up an extra £40 every year. It’s bad enough bribing voters with their own money, but lending people money and pretending it’s a grant is dishonest.
