I just released a fully free WooCommerce plugin for store owners who want pretty product cards the readers of their content can click on, thus getting more traffic to their product pages through SEO
Here you can try it for free:
wordpress.org/plugins/bluesk…
@SammyLandix4o I would say the eye is drawn to the color quickly, perhaps the social icons should be greyed out, and the button we really want someone to click should have a bit of color
Although you wouldn't see the social icons first on mobile
Human beings are often very illogical
The research shows that a large chunk of sales happen in the last 3% of a limited time deal
Use limited discounts or product availabilities to boost your conversions
Just make sure they limited window is real so people trust you the next time around
I've seen some clients having success with implementing "guides" to inform their ICP with useful knowledge, while also plugging in their products, helping their overall SEO strategy
Ads don't have to be the entire play
No one cares or wants to learn more about your “Blue Gymnastics Ball”.
Instead, you need to educate your audience on how your product can “Significantly reduce pain, stiffness, and reduce recovery time with a new ball, proven to encourage active recovery in your body.”
Nowadays, with how good phones are, and AI, which can quickly produce video ads even phones can't capture, you need your angle to be spot on to stand out, and frame everything in your ads in a way to incite desire, need, an increase in reputation, among other things
Got a client whose site still has empty blog posts, clear graphical mishaps, social buttons don't work, product cards look like they're out of 1990....just get it fixed in 1 day and never think about it again....
Also, build content if you have a brand that is directionally going somewhere specific. You can't do that easily if you're pingponging dropshipped products like a powertool one week and a water-cooler pillow the next
a lot of people seem to be relying on ads alone for their ecom stores with a crash-and-burn mentality
However, if you "own" a specific, high-quality product, then you can really build something more sustainable long term...and get higher margins through brand recognition, SEO, content, etc...not just paid ads all the time.
Even word of mouth can compound with a brand that delivers quality
