To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Sir Roger Bannister's sub-4 mile, an original programme - autographed by Bannister, Chataway & Brasher - from 6 May 1954 will feature in the MOWA, Iffley Road, Oxford display (4 to 6 May). @BASCSupporters @BritishMilers @OxfordUniSport
The historic display features competition artefacts donated to the MOWA by 19 of the world’s greatest middle-distance runners who between them won 11 Olympic Games & 12 World Championships 1500m titles and have set ratified world records, 8 times at 1500m & 10 times at the mile.
