However, one can't surmise how an entire group feels without mind reading skills — so much of the time such assumptions rest on projection, not "empathy" as such.

If the corpo-philes's at NYT sue @OpenAI and take down ChatGPT, they will rue the day. Open-Source LLMs with unfettered datasets will fill the vacuum. Orgs like OpenAI open for partnerships and cooperatives. Maybe make a NYT subscription AI plugin instead?

I still don't understand why D-link ever put the DIR-882 into production when it was literally designed to go to the landfill. I have one that loses half its programming after any reboot. Not even Openwrt can save it.
