I don't care what your eastern European sources say, but conceptualizing a decentralized network of self-regualating communities as a state is valid. Some of you need history that doesn't begin and end with European feudalism before talking about what "things are" or "aren't".

Sorry if I don't use your colonial definition of [state]. A decentralized federation which empowers the previously oppressed is just as easily a state of being as that which is rather ubiquitously known as [the state]. This statist realism is ubiquitous colonial garbage.
