It's really easy to fall into irregular work and sleep habits during your PhD. It happened to me often. If you can stay on a more 'normal' schedule, it can help your productivity and your transition out of head school afterwards.

If your program doesn't have a structured way to teach you about funding mechanisms and their importance, ask! So many important aspects of the PhD don't always directly relate to your research. But you can't be successful without them.
