"Clean" your cards or don't. Those mad at collectors crying foul are missing the main point. Do what you want. Just disclose it when you involve others, including potential buyers, trade partners, or the grading companies you're obviously trying to deceive. Otherwise, have at it.

Gonna start a site with only news about the hobby 1%ers. Only the stories you people want, like paying celebrities to violate signing contacts, high end auctions, cracking slabs for regrades, folks with personal graders on call. You know, the real hobby. I'll call it...PRVLGD.
Sometimes I wonder if I would collect different if I didn't use social media. Then I remember how I did before 2008 & its basically the same. Just now it gets accompanied with daily episodes of the hobby's own versions of Inside Edition, Unsolved Mysteries, & Jerry Springer. Win!
The first ever Donruss hockey product...510 cards with 400 in the main set & 110 cards in the "limited" 4,000 case print run of Update. The design wasn't unique, but decent. But at ~$2.50/pack back then, the draw was the inserts. Elite #/10000 (1:60) & Ice Kings were/are timeless

1952-53 Parkhurst George Armstrong rookie card A card I haven’t posted often on this account but one I love & appreciate a lot. I love the artwork & the old boards in the background of the card. I’ve always imagined George being at an outdoor rink when looking at this card.
1971-72 O-Pee-Chee Reggie Leach rookie card After I found that last one at the Calgary card show it brought my collection of Reggie Leach rookie cards to eight! I love these cards. 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee is such a classic set with a design I really love.
