Rishi Sunak’s proposal to ban young people from ever being able to legally smoke tobacco has cleared its first Commons hurdle. A bold move aimed at protecting youth health or a step too far in personal freedom? What do you think? itv.com/thismorning/ar…
@thismorning Smoking has no benefits, and is a major contributor to cancer, stroke and heart disease. The only thing to think is it’s good it’s going to be banned.
@thismorning A lot of youngsters also Vape as well that should be banned in The United Kingdom too. Children as young as 10 and 11 year olds are vaping and that's dangerous.
@thismorning They will find a way and I think they should stop controlling use now. Let people smoke if they want
@thismorning This is already in place in NZ and according to my friends who live out there, it works well!
@thismorning Those saying it's "my choice", smoking impacts others too, not only the smoker.
@thismorning They will always get to smoke it will not work
@thismorning Don't stop there mate, stop them going to all fast food outlets and make obesity illegal Rishi.
@thismorning Isn't it a basic human right to choose?
