@thomasroost Sehr guter Beitrag! Trotzdem, auch in unseren Ländern sind sehr gute junge Trainer am Werk. Sie stehen leider nicht im Rampenlicht, sprich die Coachesszene im Bereich U7 - U15 agiert unter dem Radar. Sie haben oft gar keinenSupport der eigenen Profiabteilung.
@thomasroost Auch wenn ich Faktoren wie das Ausländerkontingent, der Rückgang der Farmteams in der SL oder auch die "Weiterbildungmöglichkeiten" der Junioren im Ausland nicht als unerheblich erachte trifft die These meiner Meinung nach des Pudels Kern. 1/2
@thomasroost Das Problem liegt meiner Meinung nach bei den Clubs, die zu kurzfristig denken. Anstatt die Juniorencoaches zu Weiterbildungen zu schicken investieren die ihr Geld lieber in den aktuellen Kader. Man denkt also immer an die nächste Saison und nicht in längerfristigen Zyklen. 2/2
@thomasroost Re. #Sorokin: The sad truth for the #Isles this year is that #Sorokin has "underachieved" all season long. Fact of the matter is, he allowed 4-6 goals against in 21(!) of his 56 outings. He was pulled in 2 others where he had allowed 3 GA in a short period of time. #Downfall

Zach and late developers like him invest in off-ice practice. They are open-minded, humble, and eager to learn. They often work with nutritionists, psychologists, and trainers, who develop individualized plans based on their needs and personal goals (2/8) ⬇️
They also have a team of people working for them to correctly place and advise. They are put in successful environments and given proper developmental usage. They have weekly or biweekly meetings and do a lot of video work. (3/8) ⬇️
Finally, and most importantly, they are placed in challenging and stimulating leagues. In Switzerland, the curve flattens at U17E and is more gradual by U20E. Some players, like those you mention who were previously physically dominant, regress. (4/8) ⬇️

Which brings me to my final point. It's not just the players that need a mindshift, it's the entire system. Advisors need to learn and become more vulnerable, clubs need to stop monopolizing and care, and players need to be in a good place to learn. (7/8) ⬇️
