Bit worried about the crowd at Newcastle tonight. A few hooligan types shouting up to the commentary box about some 4/7f chance that got beat at Pontefract 3 years ago. I don't even remember tipping it !

I've been tipping in 8 corporate boxes this morning, and the Champion Hurdle has 8 runners ! Perfect !
Names & addresses already piling up in my bucket and we've not had the first race yet.
I will be touring the pubs & bars of Cheltenham town centre after racing next week, so look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. There will be a raffle every night with some fabulous prizes including a complimentary ticket to a Chelmsford evening meeting next December.

Shame about Fakenham being off, had a good new scam lined up for there this afternoon.
I think this new fixture list is OK and could work to my advantage. I could take my bucket to a morning meeting, then dash off to a premier meeting, and finally to a late afternoon / evening meeting. THREE meetings on the same day, how many names & addresses could that bring ?
I'm in Jersey again today to commentate. I've enjoyed it here this season, they pay my air fare + expenses, and my bucket is usually full at the end of the day. They also have 4 and 5 runner races most of the time, so I don't make many mistakes. I hope they ask me back in 2024.
