The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“What is the world to me? What am I to the world? Verily, the example of this world and myself is that of a rider who seeks shade under a tree, then he moves on and leaves it behind.” Musnad Ahmad, 3701
You are deprived, O son of Adam!
If you spend your life seeking the world then when will you seek the Hereafter?!
If you are incapable of doing good in this world, what will you be able to do on the Day of Judgment?
Death isn’t the end. It’s the most beautiful beginning for those who lived for Allah.
“Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).” 6:162
سبحان من جعل في تفويض الأمر إليه راحة البال، وجعل في ذكره تبديد الهم.
Glory be to Him who placed tranquility in entrusting one's affairs to Him, and made in His remembrance the dissipation of worries. ♡
Just a traditional woman living in a modern world..
I love being at home—decorating it, cleaning it, working for it, and beautifying it. Home isn’t something I wish to escape; it’s where I feel most myself.
“No one is granted a gift more precious or encompassing than patience.” — Bukhārī no. 1469
A believer who is a master of patience is a master of everything else.
