@Beastbr00k0 Different players and different injuries, but let's be clear: Giannis started an NBA Finals game ONE week later on his way to one of the most dominant individual Finals performances of my lifetime. We don't make a big enough deal about this.

Rewatching The Wire and one thing that really jumps out is that Austin Rivers is the Ziggy Sobotka of the NBA

Golf is a test of character, much like life. How do you respond when expectations aren’t met, especially due to no fault of your own? What do you appeal to when adversity occurs? Do you look at life through a lens of opportunity and chance or fragile notions of fairness?

Not a bit: I hope they never, ever change the rule about having to play balls out of divots in the fairway. It’s tremendously unfair, but that’s why golf isn’t played on a simulator. Bad shit happens and you have to figure it out like Ryder just did. It’s the best.

Folks don’t talk enough about how the real risk of lifting is that you might get accidentally trapped in a button down shirt that doesn’t fit your shoulders anymore.

If we ever have a bubble championship again then that specific trophy should be named after him

After a disappointing 2021-22 season, James Harden is back in a hygge way.

you hit a terrible drive into the trees, it ends up with a perfect shot into the green…you should drop it behind a tree. Tell me I’m wrong?

you hit a perfect drive in the fairway, it lands in a deep divot.. you should get free relief. Tell me I’m wrong?

@1beardedgolfer @abstrother I once just stopped playing at Cabin Brook after 14 holes. Decided I'd rather go home. But that goofy shit at Kincaid makes my heart sing. Love that uphill par 5.

The NBA should do for Bill Russell what MLB did for Jackie Robinson. Retire No. 6 for all franchises. Make MLK Day - already a signature day for the league - the day where everyone wears No. 6. Celebrating Bill Russell’s on court and off court legacy should be an annual rite.

@1beardedgolfer @MWannemueller @bamabearcat Dude, @craig_colton swore by that place when I met him at the Prairie Dunes Mashie. It's my bad that I've still never been...
