@Astrolizr @MikeBartner I think he would be a good winger if the flyers had actually decent centers

Interesting postgame stuff from Matvei Michkov. He basically acknowledged that he took 4 months off of hockey for the first time in his life, and that complicated his training. And, that goal in Nashville was a huge weight off of his shoulders. "I love scoring and honestly I can’t live without this feeling.” “And when I score, I get a kind of rush and feel much more confident than I did at first. ... When you start thinking about (not scoring) you step out on the ice and your whole body feels heavy.”

Competitive players don't like being around noncompetitive players. Hard working players don't like being around lazy players. Players with great makeup don't like being around players with shitty makeup. Classy parents don't like being around trashy parents at games.

@tylerb8771 @MikeBartner I think Crosby is the better player but his injuries will make his legacy a what if whereas ovi will have the goal record

As soon as you start thinking about how well you're playing, you stop playing well. Don't think. Stay focused!

Transfer of blame is a sign of immaturity. It’s no one else’s fault. The official, a teammate, the coach, the weather. Suck it up, hold yourself accountable, make adjustments & work harder. Focus on what you can control. Preparation, attitude, effort, gratefulness, energy, focus.
