My grandmother always used to tell me, “Train yourself to always say the shahada instinctively so that if you are ever in a scary situation or something happens, the shahada will be the last thing you say before you die.”

Don’t always look for the easy path & short term gratification. Remember, life’s a test. It requires a lot of hard work & long term perspective. It’s not easy. It’s not for the faint hearted. Just as Paradise is not easy. Prepare well today so you won’t have to regret tomorrow!
