to put the recent growth of relays in context: 9 months ago we were doing 5m - 10m a day on track for ~650m ath today it took us about a year from launch (july 2020) to get the quality of service and product to a level that spurred the last 9 months (july 2021) of growth

I don't believe there is any Web3 project focused on a dedicated UX layer like POKT. Protocols without UX can not compete with their Web2 counterparts. POKT isn't locking it's ecosystem into a single UX experience, but creating a market of business incentives for UX innovations.

🎰🎲 The point is that it's not a zero-sum game, unlike other corners of Web3. ⚖️ It's also critical to call out that it assumes the ecosystem eventually reaches equilibrium where emissions equal burn.
As ecosystems, teams and projects grow, 1 token today will buy you more utility tomorrow. It may be a higher quality of service, more compute, more storage, larger product offering, etc. 💳 It's like buying AWS credits and $AMZN at the same time. Deflationary utility.
1 $HNT provides a few GB of data today, but could be years of data in the future. 1 $AKT buys a few hours of GPU time today, but could be days in the future. $AR was only storage, but is now also compute. 1 $POKT buys thousands of relays today, but could be millions.
Let's take $AMZN as an example. 1 share of $AMZN is a bet on the team and its future profits. It will probably go up over time. ☁️ 🖥️ $100 in AWS credits however will likely buy you less in the future as prices increase and inflation continues.
