@AlZeidenfeld Picking grips from second is something literally every runner second base is trying to do. Some closers like Kenley Jansen Aroldis Chapman, do not care to hide their pitch grips and so a runner on second could easily relay the pitches to the batter. That’s what happened to Miller
@AlZeidenfeld So in reality they only figured out one actual tip, and then just looked at grips from second into the glove of Miller
@AlZeidenfeld Any team in baseball that got a runner to second would have been picking up pitch grips for Miller. It’s why some closers will intentionally balk a runner from second to third if they are up by 2 or 3. Kenley Jansen is an example of this
