"Meta reports Q2 revenue down 1% YoY to $28.8B" OMG RECESSION! The way we business is fundamentally problematic. A 1% reduction in revenue should not be an alarm bell. Our fantasy of unending double digit growth was never a good idea.

Why does the media tie itself into pretzel shapes trying to explain inflation when the answer is so obviously capitalism? Tighten your belt for Ukraine! Meanwhile, no one will remember to watch the quarterly reports for all the businesses currently gouging the consumer.

Ever hear of the GI Bill? There are definitely times when the government steps in to make things affordable? What about all the land grants given to people? That certainly made land affordable for a lot of people that didn’t have the means to pay for it. It’s complicated.
