Unpopular opinion; Being busy doesn’t make you productive. You can be productive without being busy. Most people like the feeling of being busy because they see it as a status symbol and it allows them to avoid thinking about whether or not they’re actually adding value.

Having a long term relationship doesn’t make it a good one. In this instance, time is not a useful measure of quality. Instead use characteristics such as values alignment, reciprocity, intimacy and utility.

Unpopular opinion: more often than not intelligence contributes less to success than timing, luck and persistence. People just like the idea and feeling that their superior intellect was why they “won” in their business, career, sport or other activity.
