Changed address search from Google to OpenStreetMap. This should end any problems with the search not working.
New school means new #3Dpirinted #Tactile maps. Took no time at all using @touchmapper and then @tinkercad for a few adjustments. In 3 hours will have a map to go along with summer O&M!
"But why not just use Google maps?" Because OpenStreetMap data makes this kind of thing possible: touch-mapper.org/en/
Embossers and swell paper are now supported in addition to 3D printing. I'm interested in hearing how it works out for all of you!
Code is now #OpenSource, so you can build new things on top of it. Also a web site update, to work better with screen readers. #tactilemaps
Very small scales available now, eg. for park. Use another, larger scale map for a detail like the visitors center.

Much smaller and larger scales now available. A 20 cm map can now cover 1120m, good for sparsely built suburbs.
Printing large maps in multiple parts now supported. Make several maps and lay them on a surface next to each other.
