Massachusetts just ordered cops to stop asking if you’re here illegally. Then ICE scooped a Jamaican illegal alien in Springfield facing seven child-rape counts. Jermaine Oneil Thompson. Pending: two counts of aggravated rape of a child. Prior arrest: five counts of rape of a child with force, assault with intent to rape a child, and witness intimidation. He’s in federal immigration custody now. The criminal case moves separately. Governor Maura Healey’s PROTECT Act locked in September 4. It tells state and local police they can’t ask about immigration status unless it’s an element of a state crime. It also blocks civil ICE arrests without a judicial warrant in schools, courthouses, and hospitals. She rolled out the guidance the same week her sanctuary blueprint collided with this arrest. ICE Boston didn’t whisper. They said Healey is protecting vile, dangerous criminal aliens. Cable news treated it like weather in Springfield. A state that handcuffs its own cops on immigration questions while predators walk free is not “protecting communities.” It’s choosing a side. Enforce the border or admit the kids aren’t the priority.

JOE ROGAN: “The guy who wrote the study that’s often quoted about vaccines not causing autism just got arrested for fraud.” “People around Fauci… that don’t have a pardon from Biden are getting arrested now.” Rogan is talking about Poul Thorsen, the Danish epidemiologist behind Madsen et al., published in NEJM on November 7, 2002. It covered 537,303 children and claimed “strong evidence against the hypothesis that MMR vaccination causes autism.” Thorsen just pleaded guilty to wire fraud for stealing more than $1,000,000 in CDC grant money. In contradiction to Thorsen’s autism claim, Dr. Peter McCullough’s team at the McCullough Foundation reviewed 136 vaccine studies for Determinants of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Twenty-nine came back neutral, and 107 inferred a possible link. The study’s conclusion: “Combination and early-timed routine childhood vaccination constitutes the most significant modifiable risk factor for ASD…”

2008 was an interesting year for vaccines. That's the year the formerly-sealed case of Hannah Poling leaked to the public. (I later reported on the case for CBS News. I'll link to that in this thread.) In Hannahs' case, the govt. (which represents vaccine makers in court, believe it or not) conceded that Hannah's vaccines caused her autism. Mind you, the govt. and head of CDC were denying this in public. We didn't know it at the time, but the govt's own top expert witness in vaccine-autism cases, pediatric neurologist Dr. Andrew Zimmerman, had shocked the govt. by telling them (DOJ lawyers) that vaccines can cause autism, after all. But instead of helping kids and revealing the truth, the DOJ fired Dr. Zimmermand as an expert witness and misrepresented his opinion in court thereafter. Anyhow, the govt. secretly paid the Poling family a multi million dollar settlement, but then had the case sealed so no other parents would find out. Public health officials continued to tell other parents they were imagining things. Meantime, many experts said that separating multi vaccines into individual doses is inherently safer. Some parents were opting to get their kids Measles and Mumps vaccines separately, for example, rather than giving them the combo Measles, Mumps, Rubella shot. How did the maker of MMR, Merck respond? Merck stopped making the individual shots in the U.S. All around 2008.

The Powder Point Bridge in Duxbury is a local landmark, a historic wooden bridge, and a major part of the town’s coastal character. MassDOT is now in the design phase for a full replacement project that could cost taxpayers roughly $160-$172 million. That alone should raise questions. Yesterday’s Supreme Court decision reflects that the capture of government by big industry is nearly complete. It affirmed the right of chemical companies to injure, maim, and even kill you and your children with their pesticides, herbicides, etc., with near complete impunity. This means you can expect increasingly toxic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, rodenticides, etc., because the more toxic they are, the better they will kill weeds, pests, etc. And farmers that then use the most effective products, no matter how harmful to humans, will have a competitive advantage. The result will be that the farmer who adopts the most effective products (meaning most toxic) will have the largest crop yield. Other farmers, to compete, will then also be forced to adopt the more harmful product. With that, the race to the bottom has begun. I expect that in the coming decades we will look back and wish to return to the “safer days” of glyphosate. So, bottom line: your government has abandoned you and your children. Think about this decision: 7 out of 9 Supreme Court judges sided with the chemical company against the public, and Trump’s DOJ intervened in the case on the side of the chemical company. Anyone who thinks this administration cares about you over industry profit is, at this point, delusional. Shame on the DOJ, shame on the Trump admin, and shame on the Supreme Court for letting chemical companies get away with injuring, maiming, and killing Americans with their products instead of just allowing normal market forces to protect us and our children. Now, in addition to vaccines, we can add pesticides, etc., to the list of products that can injure and kill with near complete immunity. Below is the decision and, in a nutshell, it holds that failure to warn claims brought under state law (which is the primary type of claim one would bring for harms from a pesticide, herbicide, etc.) are preempted by the EPA-approved label such that, if the harm is not on the label, your claim loses (since EPA didn’t add it to the label as a harm), and if the harm is on the label, your claim loses (since it has been disclosed on the label).
