It's hard being an artist online when I find social media so overwhelming. I haven't posted here for a long time, even though I have a lot of art. I'd like to get back into it but I'm never sure what would be a good way to reach people. Seems it's harder than ever now.

D&D has kinda taken over my life, I've mostly been drawing pieces related to my beloved character Edith the bardlock. This was a particularly large project that I enjoyed working on. I'm thinking of maybe doing some d&d commissions in the future if anyone is interested.

Revised the eye shapes sketch from yesterday. I forgot to include the Chinese names for phoenix eyes. Also, fixed the peach blossom eye to make the flower petal shape more prominent in the painted version :3

Artists who do commissions... if a client asks you for a linework only version for the artwork you provided because they want to try coloring it themselves, would you be comfortable doing it? Would you ask them to pay extra?

If you’ve commissioned an artist and see that they are working on personal art along side your piece, don’t get pressed about it - when you finish work and unwind with some video games does your boss call you up and ask why you aren’t working?

Ok it's not a let's go clone but ??? It's just me but the art direction is really unappealing (and unpolished) to me. Looking forward to Legends though!! The one good thing that came out of this direct.
