I’m not sure mobilising is the right word. They’re already mobilised. Like colleagues in local govt, they need to be trusted and supported. The good news is many are innovative and ready; the bad news is ‘we’re all knackered and the money’s running out’.
I’m signing off with a feeling a pride tonight. The superstars of this nation lie in local communities. Even after taking the biggest hits you have wrapped your arms around your community to catch children as they fell. I really can’t thank you enough, you’re amazing ♥️

@BeckettsFarm I visited your lovely establishment today. The only criticism that I would have is that it very much lacks the necessary safety precautions in tackling COVID-19. You appeared to not have sanitisation stations, lack of trolley cleaning and lack of social distancing
@BeckettsFarm I find your response inadequate as there appears to be no effort for your store to allow adequate social distancing. Your company obviously values profit over safety. And to have one cleaning station which people had to do themselves is highly unprofessional.
@BeckettsFarm I’m guessing that you are choosing to ignore me regarding your COVID-19 procedures. During my visit you lacked hand sanitisation stations, cleaning stations for the trolleys, monitoring of people in the shop and social distancing. I hope this helps.

We need 2 educate #homecare commissioners that there are other ways to provide home care aside from just drawing up a list of approved corporate providers competing mainly on price. Small local providers have been shown to deliver on great outcomes and save money. @SimonHarrisTD

Did you know that ALL the community Centres in Telford & Wrekin are no longer run by Telford & Wrekin? We all are now run by charities or trusts who have to work really hard to raise the funds to keep these much needed & important part of our communities running & open! 😀
