One story we didn’t get on film was that one of the new Valve hires for HL2 was going through the repo and saw a file named “mossman” and started excitedly asking the artists about this new Moss Man enemy they were working on.
In the Half-Life 2 developer commentary, Mark Laidlaw reveals that Judith Mossman was originally in Half-Life 1. Her original storyline arc was reused for the Uplink demo for Half-Life but the character was cut. She of course returned in Half-Life 2 as we all know her.

Ya ha pasado un mes desde el Indie Dav Day de Barcelona, España. Fue un mes muy corto. Después de volver a casa, presentamos el Spanish Localize del Hotel Barcelona, pero luego nos enteramos de que Barcelona es la capital de Cataluña y que mucha gente habla catalán como lengua principal. También me enteré de que el número de personas que hablan español estándar está aumentando y que, por lo tanto, hay mucha actividad para preservar la lengua tradicional catalana. Así que, con la ayuda de una organización sin ánimo de lucro, decidimos traducir Hotel Barcelona al catalán. La información ya está disponible en la página de STEAM.
