How weathering affects Black people’s health “There’s nothing inherently wrong with Black people. There is something very, very wrong with the systems that we are forced to live under or within.” Excited to be interviewed by @jonquilynhill for @voxdotcom. vox.com/the-weeds/2407…
@uche_blackstock @jonquilynhill @voxdotcom in our film we discuss the work of social scientist Arline Geronimus around her defining “weathering”…such great work you are newly released book are doing! call out the culprit!

@uche_blackstock @jonquilynhill @voxdotcom Great interview as always @uche_blackstock. I have to admit that as a black man. I do NOT trust white doctors and I get nervous whenever I go for checkups. I realize that much of your work is centered around black women and my wife and I appreciate that. Any resources for men?
@uche_blackstock @jonquilynhill @voxdotcom Excellent interview!!
