A heartbreaking scene unfolded in Jammu and Kashmir’s Keran village as the funeral of Raja Liaquat Ali Khan highlighted the human cost of the Line of Control. While his last rites were performed on the Indian side, his siblings stood just across the river on the Pakistani side— close enough to see, yet unable to cross, pray, or say goodbye. The moment reflects the enduring pain of families separated by borders, where even in death, distance remains unbridgeable. #JammuAndKashmir #LoC #Kashmir #HumanCost

The announcement of the ceasefire by the Union Government is a welcome step. There is a sense of relief all around. The inhabitants of the border areas in J and K have had a harrowing time. Hope they are able to resume their lives and hope we as a society come to their aid and help them rebuild their homes.

Humanity is missing these days. Even in our country. No one speaks of unity, love or affection. Media & political parties are busy with such opinions of hatred & creating an influence on the general public. Those who are responsible citizens are not bothered about what we are giving to the present & next generation. We have forgotten the lessons from the Hiroshima & Nagasaki nuclear attacks. People must understand no religion creates difference but it's the interpreter who creates one. When I retired in 2021 with a dream to influence our young generation for the betterment of people and our great Nation and its heritage I have jotted for our citizens if its suit may be shared with others. Jai Hind!! #love #affection #bonding #responsibility #nationfirst #duties #citizen #proudindian #heritage #Soldiers

The mass protests against the Pahalgam killings was a rare occurrence, a first of its kind in the last 78 years. It showed a shift in mindset from a society in which some significant sections may have accorded social sanctity to the concept of violence —— to a society which

Now this is shamelessness settling to new lows. CM sahib is the same person who as leader of the J & K Assembly choreographed an ugly cacophonous song dance performance and ensured that J & K Assembly does not pass any negative resolution against the Waqf Bill. And he is now welcoming and analysing the Supreme Court verdict. This is the same person who ensured that for three days bedlam riegns in the JK Assembly and NC legislators acting like ten year olds jumping on the desks, shout and shout and make all other voices inaudible. This is the same person who did not visit the house for those crucial three days. This is the same person who instead preferred a walk in the Tulip gardens with the person who presented this anti Muslim bill in the Parliament. This typifies the NC style as explained by their family friend, Dullat sahib in his new book. The style is the same. Leading from the front in creating impediments and leading from the front in welcoming removal of impediments. As they say — “chit bhi meri pat bhi meri”. Our distinctiveness was derived from us being the legislators of the only Muslim majority province of India. We did not or were not allowed by CM sahib and his fifty, ten year olds to put that distinctiveness to use. Supreme Court of India observations are welcome and represent the legal parameters or interventions. J & K Assembly discussion or resolution against the Waqf bill would have provided the perfect politico-religious context. J & K should have been leading from the front not hiding under the fog leaf of Supreme Court observations.
