Yesterdays batch of Georgia votes broke down 60% white and 28% black The cumulative vote is 54% white and 33% black. So as long as Dems are even hitting close to the 29% black threshold they got in the general election, that’s huge
@umichvoter In both 2020 and 2022, the combined white + black vote was 90% of the GA statewide total. These totals are 88% (yesterday) and 87% (overall)...meaning black is probably more like 29% yesterday and 34% overall, rather than 28 and 33.
@umichvoter Largest 2 days of EV for the GE were the Thursday and Friday before the GE. The Friday was by far the highest. Be interested to see if that follows for the runoff.
@umichvoter GOP keeps running a few points behind what they need. So while they are staying in the game, they are not hitting they targets. They needed the black vote yesterday to be around 25%.
@umichvoter Ur getting this wrong. Dems need hhge black share in EV as ED would be strongly GOP
@umichvoter Georgia rural white voters should simply vote like Michigan rural white voters.
@umichvoter Wednesday is usually the worst day for Black % too is usually rises a tad on Thursday and then is really good on Friday
@umichvoter Muscogee (Columbus) and Richmond (Augusta) continue to KILL it vs. their EV in the general election!
