A part of her didn’t want Polup to leave so soon but she was her own person. Last thing Umiko wanted to do was keep her away from something she loved. “I suppose so… but if you ever need a place to stay up here my home is always open for you…” She pulled her into a warm hug.

There was a lot she wanted to say. How that man worked. That Polup shouldn’t follow his lead. But perhaps that was projection. “Polup… I won’t go against you if you choose that path but… I’d just be worried that you’d end up here again without anything…”

By any other means she would have been more patient but with an opportunity like this. It was hard to. “I-I… I wanna try it now! Please!” Even her condition was put aside for this. She just had to know… what it felt like.
