Recently, we lost the great Ms. Cicely Tyson. Known for her positive portrayals of Black women on stage and screen, Ms. Tyson used her work to fight the stereotypes of Black women. In 2016, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Barack Obama. ow.ly/oWCz50DIzue
