A traveling Clayborn Temple Exhibit is open through May 19 at @UofMLibraries by the 2nd-floor commons! Curated in collaboration with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, it illustrates the heritage of the sacred space that galvanized the civil rights movement in Memphis.

The Clayborn Temple Exhibit is located next to the display of Martin Luther King Jr.’s original speech delivered to the General Synod of the United Church of Christ in Chicago on July 6, 1965, which was gifted by Avron B. Fogelman.
