@ritakozlov @Cloudflare I tested against some real-life use cases (translation related) and it didn't perform very well, but what was more surprising was the latency. Any ideas why it was slow for us?

@michellechen @Cloudflare @huggingface Tried some real-world tests for our translation use-case, and Clef didn't do great (including latency) as compared to Jev. Thought it would be better?

@victormustar Doesn't work as well as Jev in our tests - latency was really bad as well.

With @Cloudflare releasing Clef, we thought we'd compare it with our @typesafeai Jev integration for manual translation auto-completion helps. Jev won on all real-world tests.

Been experimenting with @typesafeai and yeah, it's faster. Test use cases for translation so far are selecting proper glossary term sense and flagging sentences for idioms, metaphors etc.
