India has faced terrorism from Pakistan for decades. Our concern is this. The US war on terror has spared Pakistan. In 2004 the US designated Pakistan as a Major Non- NATO Ally while India continued to face Pakistan sponsored terrorism. Pakistan hasn’t been punished by the US for spawning the Taliban and sheltering Osama bin Laden.

Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir: Reactions to the ITBP Director General’s statement, Retired Colonel Ajay Raina says, "I will analyze the statement made by the DG ITBP from three or four angles for you, as I have some basic objections. First of all, he is an IPS officer, and the DG of ITBP comes from outside; he came in January and is retiring on October 31. In his service of 8 to 10 months, he has presented such a big analysis. Let me explain to you that along the Line of Actual Control, ITBP and the Army are deployed together, but during a conflict, the Army takes over the entire area...You mentioned China has modernized extensively; are you aware of how much the Indian Army has modernized? The world witnessed it during Operation Sindoor..."

Rather presumptuous of you to give me this patronising advice. I took an oath to the constitution on joining service. I have served the country for four decades when different govts were in power. No politics. Only national interest. Can you as a journalist claim that? My respect for the judiciary is respect for its constitutional position. Your lack of trust in it is lack of respect for the constitution.

The first responsibility of those who’ve held high positions, including you Sir, is towards ppl n the constitution they gave themselves. May one daresay ur faith in the judiciary is respect worthy but not as much trust worthy.
