First bears of the season and it's a mama and two cubs. As adorable as they look this could be a very deadly encounter. I took this from a vehicle and zoomed in quite a ways. As much as I love these critters they're not pets. Keep your distance from mama bears

Two cubs in a tree. The mama is below them and they were never in any danger. As cute as they are don't touch or try to get close. Mama Bear is stronger, faster, and a whole lot meaner than humans are. Tree climbing won't save you she climbs faster than she runs.
